Help OCJCR - Donate Today
The Orange County Jewish Coalition for Refugees (OCJCR) is driven by the deep moral obligation and ethical imperative from our own history to welcome the stranger and protect the refugee. We are a grass-roots, all-volunteer coalition of individuals, synagogues, and community groups affiliated and aligned with the goals of HIAS, a Jewish international refugee resettlement agency.
We work within the Orange County community to support refugees through:
Local interfaith and intercultural alliances
Educational and bridge-building events
Direct service and volunteerism
We invite you to join together and help OCJCR fulfill its mission to help refugees in our community.
As an all-volunteer organization, YOUR SUPPORT is crucial to help OCJCR expand our reach!
Your support will increase our impact by:
Providing room and board to just-released immigration detainees who must now be housed in hotels. (Due to COVID-19 we are not currently securing home hospitality as we did before.)
Helping locally resettled refugee families purchase food and/or pay rent.
Allowing us to continue to offer programs to educate and raise awareness.
Thank you in advance for your meaningful contribution. Any and all amounts are helpful.
